Event Co-Sponsors
The National Town Meeting on Demand Response is a unique event that is conducted entirely in an actively moderated open “roundtable” format, where invited speakers do not address the audience so much as have a conversation with it. It is also a format that allows for Town Meeting attendees, i.e. the audience, to participate in the discussion. It is designed to help build and expand the demand response “community” - if you are part of that community or want to be, don't hesitate to sign up and attend!
The upcoming Fourth National Town Meeting on Demand Response will cover a wide range of topics on demand response. Some to highlight are the following:
There will also be a new feature where Town Meeting attendees get to provide “fyi's” to their fellow attendees on demand response activities they are involved in.
Also - please note that the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) will be holding a Technical Conference on Demand Response in Washington on Monday, April 23, the day before the Town Meeting. There is no charge to attend this day-long FERC event, meaning that you can combine it with Town Meeting attendance for two full days of demand response content and networking.
The Fourth National Town Meeting on Demand Response is being held in conjunction with GridWeek, a commercial event being held at the same location in Washington, DC that same week. There is a separate registration fee to attend the GridWeek sessions on Wednesday and Thursday, April 25 and 26. There is also an option to sign up to attend both the Town Meeting and GridWeek.
